You install our custom Android app and give it permission to handle SMS. Once it's set up, the app securely relays texts between your phone and HighLevel. Incoming messages show up inside HighLevel, and any message you send from HighLevel gets sent out through your Android device's SIM.
We recommend using an Android phone from 2018 or newer, running Android 9 (Pie) or above. It needs to stay on and connected 24/7. While R2P works on devices with Android 7 and up, newer phones usually offer better performance, battery life, and reliability.
Choose a SIM plan that includes unlimited or high-volume SMS, since that’s what R2P primarily uses.
Voice minutes aren’t needed unless you plan to use the number for actual calls or call forwarding.
Make sure the device has reliable internet. While R2P works over mobile data, Wi-Fi gives you the best and most consistent performance. Select a data plan that fits your needs if Wi-Fi isn’t always available.
No, we don’t currently offer a public API.

Yes, as long as your phone supports eSIM, you can use it with R2P.
You’re responsible for following all local regulations, such as consent requirements under laws like TCPA in the US. R2P doesn’t encourage or support illegal messaging practices.
R2P uses your device’s standard SIM number, which doesn’t require A2P 10DLC brand or campaign registration through The Campaign Registry.
Yes. R2P doesn’t place a cap on the number of messages you send or receive. However, your mobile carrier’s SIM limits and Fair Use Policies still apply.
The main limitation is that R2P only supports SMS. MMS messages, like images and videos, won’t go through HighLevel. Those must be handled on the Android device directly or shared via links instead.
That’s correct. R2P doesn’t have a traditional web dashboard. Instead, key actions like generating or renewing API keys and viewing stats happen inside our Discord server.
We use Discord so we can build a community and offer quick direct support. While the commands are required to acutally utilize the product, chatting in the community is completely optional—though many users find it helpful.
Each plan gives you Relay Tokens. One token lets you activate or renew access for one HighLevel location for 30 days.
Tokens roll over, so you don’t lose any you don’t use. For example, if your plan includes 5 tokens per month but you only use 3, you’ll have 7 tokens next month after renewal.
Yes, if it’s an Android device, they can. However, we recommend using a dedicated device with its own unique phone number. Otherwise, all personal messages will also be relayed into your (or their) HighLevel account.
